Blessing Bags Spreadsheet

Here at the Wellness Consortium, our mission extends beyond building connections among wellness advocates—we’re here to support our communities in meaningful, hands-on ways. This year, we’re excited to announce our Blessing Bag Drive, a collective effort to assemble and distribute Blessing Bags filled with essential items for those facing homelessness and hardship.

Throughout November, we’re gathering supplies from caring individuals like you, and we invite you to join us at our Blessing Bag “Stuffing” Party on December 4, 2024, hosted at Restoration Estate (a generous space offered by WC member Mike Haggarty) at 10901 Grandview Road, KCMO 64137. The event starts at 10 am and will continue until our goal is met.

To make it easier for everyone to participate, Kim Beer has created a shared spreadsheet where you can mark the items you plan to bring. This helps us keep track of contributions and ensures we gather everything we need. Please mark the items you’re bringing on the spreadsheet and note where you’ll be dropping them off or if you’ll bring them directly to the stuffing event.

Ideas of Things to Bring:

• Warm clothing: gloves, socks, hats, scarves,
• Hygiene items: toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, hand sanitizer, sanitary items
• Food/snacks: granola bars, dried fruit, crackers, bottled water, ready-to-eat items

If you’re unable to attend a meeting this month or join us for the drive but would still like to support, we welcome monetary donations. Your contributions will go directly toward purchasing any remaining supplies needed to complete the Blessing Bags.
